"António Torres' SWAN FAKE is a dance piece that takes as its point of departure in SWAN LAKE and THE DYING SWAN. It gets stimulae from ballet, as well as the drama, the expressivity and the artificiality. A selfie-performance where I balance between the white swan and the black swan, developing a self portrait. Ambiguous between gender, provocative and exhaustive."
